I just had to point out these photo’s posted by Stu over at vintnernals.com. The photos are from a recent job he did installing two HP C7000 blade chassis populated with HP BL685c G5 blade servers sharing a terabyte of memory between them.
As you may be aware the HP BL685c’s are a full height 4 CPU socket blade
server capable of housing 128GB of memory over it’s 16 DIMM slots. Needless to say they are a good candidate for use with virtualization products. Head on ever and check out the photos here.
