Here’s a link to a great free Windows file copy utility called, strangely enough, FastCopy.
During the recent upgrade of my main PC from Windows 7 Beta (build 7000) to Windows 7 RC (build 7200) I used it to backup all my photo’s and other personal files to a USB hard drive.
It certainly felt faster than using the standard Windows explorer drag and drop method of copying. The copy speed (TransRate) I experienced was anywhere between 20MB/s – 34MB/s.
