Vote for TechHead vSphere Lab Session at VMworld 2010 – Thanks

VMware

I have submitted a session for selection at VMworld 2010 (San Francisco and Copenhagen) called ‘Building A Successful vSphere Lab’. As many of you probably know I really enjoy talking about building vSphere labs of all sizes, small home labs through to larger work based labs, so the prospect of presenting a session at VMworld 2010 is a very exciting one indeed!

A rare moment when my own lab actually looks tidy! There is much to talk about when it comes to designing and then building out your own vSphere lab, everything from the selection of the CPU through to the memory, storage and networking considerations. Even when the hardware is assembled and up and running there are then many other tricks and tips that can make a big difference in running a successful vSphere lab.

My session will be full of real-world examples, hints and tips covering the various aspects outlined above, along with the best ways to obtain (legally) the guest OS and VMware related software.

I would appreciate your vote so I can share some of my knowledge and passion for building and running vSphere labs.  If you feel like some TechHead good karma and casting a vote my way then all you need to do is follow these few basic steps…

Voting ends on the 26th May so get in quick if possible… :)

Step 1: Visit the VMworld 2010 web site at: http://www.vmworld.com and login (so you can vote).  If you don’t have a login then don’t worry as creating an account is very quick and simple (see top right corner of the VMworld screen).  Then click the button that says ‘Vote Today’ (see below):
