The SMB offerings are becoming compelling (essentials & plus), hopefully this will help drive down the cost of ongoing maintainance.

Two issues still remain – very inflated consultancy costs and inappropriate hardware. I was recently involved with a project where Insight consultancy quoted £35k for LAN switching – for an office with 60 staff and three ESX hosts…
