Good spotting Dave…

Missed that myself. Just checked again and there is still no U1 update for the DELL, HP and IBM ESXi builds. The HP U1 build is understandable because of the current issues with the HP agents and U1 but I would have thought the others (Dell and IBM) may have been up by now.

DOH!! Now I see whats wrong… This is “Version 4 | 164009 – 11/09/09″ not “Version 4.0 Update 1 | 208167 – 11/19/09″

Check out your screen shot! This is the older version without U1.

The Hp (or Dell or IBM) versions of ESXi include the CIM providers that will give more detailed hardware information in the health info as well as the ability to provide this information up to the monitoring software like Systems Insight Manager or Openview.

Thanks for letting us know Dave.

That doesn’t make much sense to have it in one place and not the other. Hopefully they’re in the throes of updating the registered users download page.
