Great article. I’m wanting to do the same with ESXi 5.0 do you know if current crop of ML150s (G6) will work? VMware only lists the ML350 series as supported. At work I once tried to get VMware going on a DL350G1 and it was endless Purple-Screen-Of-Death problems. I don’t want to buy an ML150 and find it doesn’t work.

I’ve just completed my VCP Install, Configure, Manage exam (4.1). I was looking for a way I could set the network up at home – this is perfect! It just so happens I have a couple of old ML115′s that I was going to throw away!
