TechHead Visits Tech Legend Leo Laporte at the TWiT Cottage

General

During a recent trip over to San Francisco I was fortunate enough to head up to Petaluma to  meet well known technology broadcaster and journalist Leo Laporte at the TWiT (This Week in Tech) cottage.

Leo is probably well known to many of you from his years working on well known technology programmes and podcasts such as The Screen Savers, Call for Help, The Tech Guy and This WEEK in TECH (TWiT) to name a few.  I have been a big fan listening to many of Leo’s podcasts over the past years and have found them an excellent way of keep on top of the latest tech developments and to learn more in-depth bits and pieces along the way especially in the area of IT security (see Security Now podcast).

This Week in Tech TWiTSince creating the TWiT.tv network back in 2005 the number and range of different tech related shows Leo produces continues to grow offering highly entertaining, original and informative tech content.

As you can imagine you’d need quite a decent set-up to run and produce the amount of content that Leo does on a weekly basis so what better way to hear about the ‘front desk’ part of his broadcasting environment than from the man himself.  Check out my video with Leo below to hear more.

If you haven’t listened to or viewed any of the shows on the TWiT network yet then I thoroughly recommend you check them out and add them to your list of regular podcast downloads or view one of the shows being recorded live here.

Here are a selection of the shows:

TWiT - This Week in Tech  TWiT - Windows Weekly TWiT - Security Now TWiT - FLOSS Weekly

TWiT - This Week in Google TWiT - MacBreak Weekly TWiT - The Tech Guy TWiT - The Giz Wiz
