vWire have just released a rather nifty free VMware ESX vMotion health check and troubleshooting tool called ‘OpsCheck’.  In a  nutshell this is what OpsCheck does:

“OpsCheck helps ensure your systems are configured to support  VMware VMotion by rapidly analyzing ESX 3.0, 3.5, and ESXi hypervisors, and provides troubleshooting guidance for VMware VMotion.”

Probably not something that you’ll use everyday but when you are having ESX vMotion issues then it will potentially prove most valuable and time saving.
