This is a just a quick post to point you in the direction of Rick Scherer’s (vmwaretips.com) recent article about “VMware ESXi 4 and HP Servers” which ties in nicely with my post on downloading the correct VMware ESXi image for HP Proliant servers.
As Rick points out, for an HP ESXi image to be considered supported by HP it must be running on an HP approved USB stick or SD card (G6 Proliants only) and not any old stick you happened to have lying around the office at the time. Head on over to Rick’s article to find out more and whilst you’re there have a look around as he has wealth of other interesting VMware related posts.
