Eric over at vCritical has put together an informative posting on running VMware ESX 4 on… you guessed it, top of itself. Why would you want to do that I hear you say? Because you can and also it is a good way of familiarising yourself with the new product without the risk of impacting your live environment and for also testing ESX configurations before rolling them out into production.
