Just a quick post to share an informative HP best practices paper about running VMware ESX 3.5 on C-Class Blades, MSA 2000 as
storage and of course HP’s own networking virtualization technology, Virtual Connect.
In my opinion this is quite a nice combination of products (though my preference would b
e an HP EVA 4400 for entry level storage – if the budget will stretch just that little bit further).
This paper makes for an interesting read and can be found here.
