vChat Episode 20–VMworld Las Vegas Warm Up

VMware

There was a slight delay in getting this latest vChat out the door due to a few couple of editing technical difficulties.  We had hoped to get it published before the doors of VMworld had opened though unfortunately this wasn’t possible.  Though the good news that the problem has now been resolved and this latest vChat instalment is ready for your viewing/listening pleasure.  In this episode we discuss the VMworld Las Vegas event and what we’ve been up to in the past month or two.  Expect more regular vChat episodes going forward.

vChat Episode 15 with guests Duncan Epping & Frank Denneman

VMware

Well, as the saying goes “better late than never”..  and as such here is episode 15 of vChat.  I had planned to have this edited and out the door about a week and a half ago though things became busy which held things up a little.

HA and DRS bookIn this episode of vChat we have a couple of special guests with us whom I’m sure you would have heard of or if not met before, Frank Denneman and Duncan Epping.  These guys embody almost all things deep-dive when it comes to vSphere and with the recent release of their new book on HA and DRS we take the opportunity to ask about the background behind the book, whether an electronic version is in the pipeline along with their plans for any future publications.  Other topics, as you’d imagine, cover the VMware iPad app (and the potential security issues) and their home vSphere labs.

COMPETITION TIME – WIN A FREE HA/DRS BOOK! Frank and Duncan are also giving away two copies of their new HA and DRS book, the details of which are included in the vChat… Good luck.
