Book – VMware vSphere Quickstart Guide

# VMware

Here’s something well worth looking out for.  It’s a pocket sized VMware “vSphere 4.0 Quickstart Guide” co-authored by the following well known VMware community members and bloggers: Tom Howarth, Chad Sakac, Thomas Bryant III, Stu Radnidge, Dave Mischchenko, Alan Renouf and Duncan Epping.

VMware vSphere Quickstart Guide - buy it from Lulu.comThe book will contain a number of short useful deep dive articles based around VMware vSphere infrastructure and will have direct application to successfully implementing and administering a vSphere environment.

The premise for the book is based on the popular  “RapidApp’s Quick Start guide to ESX 3.0” which was published back in 2007.  Although there is no confirmed release date the team are planning to have it released by VMworld 2009 (August 31st).  It will be available to purchase via Lulu.com.

It should prove to be a good pocket sized book to keep in your bag for those quiet times on the train or when you need to quickly reference something vSphere related.
