Anatomy of a Hack 2008 Presentation by Jesper Johansson

I attended an entertaining session yesterday afternoon here at TechEd Barcelona from Jesper Johansson. Jesper is a well known face here at TechEd and the large crowd in the auditorium was testament to this.

This session was based around a suspicious track-back link Jesper saw from his blog. I have seen a number of similar track-backs here at my blog – though I too remove them.

The presentation was pretty much identical to a blog posting Jesper made on ‘The Register’ a couple of months ago – this article is well worth a read and can be found here.

Interestingly there has been a couple of articles in the media over the last few days giving a further update and the amount of money the Russian’s responsible for this scam are making. Check this out for more info.
